Sr. Cloud Engineer/ Principal

Job Title : Sr. Cloud Engineer / PrincipalDuration : 6 months contract-to-hireLocation : (Mostly Remote) St. Paul, MN Job Description : As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain our Azure cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud environment. Key Responsibilities :

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure to support business applications and services.
• Develop and implement cloud architecture solutions that meet business requirements and industry best practices.
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Automate cloud operations and processes using tools such as Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and PowerShell.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions seamlessly.
• Conduct regular security assessments and implement security best practices to protect cloud resources.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, providing timely support to internal teams.
• Stay up-to-date with Azure features, services, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 years of cloud engineering experience, focusing on Azure.
• Proven experience designing, deploying, and maintaining Azure cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
