Description
Job Overview:
The Plant Manager is involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes within ODT. Maintaining quality standards and managing a team of employees across multiple locations.
Job Function:
- Work closely with the Vice President of Operations to define, document and implement best practices for all printing equipment, finishing equipment and fulfillment activities.
- Manage workload and define labor requirements of each platform (print, finishing, fulfillment) in the most efficient manner possible while meeting maintaining ODT quality standards.
- Assist in the identification and mitigation of capacity concerns.
- Ensure planned KPI’s of efficiency and performance are met or exceeded.
- Define and maintain a schedule of preventative maintenance for all building systems and production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Oversight of safety procedures and programs created by ODT.
- Manage and inspect work performed by production staff and outside contractors.
- Monitor product standards and assure quality control programs are utilized efficiently.
- Perform general maintenance and repair on production equipment.
- Maintain security measures dictated by ODT for the protection of employees and the company.
- Monitor and manage inventory, production work orders and fulfillment transactions through appropriate systems

Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications:
- Candidate must have demonstrated working knowledge in theories, principles and operational practices applicable to the areas of assignment as dictated by ODT.
- Extensive experience in the print industry and a working knowledge of all ODT systems and procedures.
- Management and Leadership skills.
- Minimum 3 years in supervisor or management role in a production based environment.
