On My Own Independent Living Services is hiring Tailored Day Services (TDS) Facilitators! TDS will focus on supporting clients on their personal goals that potentially include employment services, community-based experiences (volunteerism), and post-secondary education.
TDS Facilitator Daily Tasks Include:
- Apply the TDS Program Curriculum, tailoring the program to assist clients in developing necessary skills required for job exploration and retention, volunteer opportunities, educational objectives and other endeavors he/she wishes to pursue.
- Provide opportunities for clients to learn to identify their strengths and challenges, and develop a vision for their future, learn their rights and responsibilities and how to find and access resources.
- Create an environment where clients are empowered to choose and customize services to meet their individual needs.
What do you need to become an TDS Facilitator?
- Valid California Drivers’ License with reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- Knowledge of necessary skills required for an adult to live in an independent environment
