What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skilled Carpenter position at On Point Construction Management?
On Point Construction Management is seeking a skilled general carpenter to perform a variety of construction related tasks on projects throughout central Nebraska. While we are willing to train the right person, this opening is for an experienced and skilled carpenter. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant residential or commercial construction experience. This position will require some day travel. Out of state travel may be asked from time to time, but is not required. The ideal candidate will have a wide range of construction skills including framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry install, painting, drywall, flooring, tile, doors, and commercial hardware install experience. Experience operating machinery such as a skid steer, fork lift, telehandler, and scissor lift is preferred. Must have experience safely hauling cargo and flat bed trailers with a pick up truck. Skilled and safe operation of most common power tools is a must.
This is a "catch-all" utility player position that will be asked to complete a variety of hands on tasks which may include some shop work. Must be a flexible team oriented personality that is willing to jump in and get the job done when needed. On Point has a heavy back log of work and a steady pipeline of projects. Our projects are predominantly focused on ground up new commercial construction and downtown historic renovations.

Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel via airplane. Salary range is based on skills and experience.
