Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and customer service skills to ensure a high level of satisfaction for our clients. As an Appliance Technician, you will work both in the field and in a workshop environment, utilizing your expertise to troubleshoot and resolve appliance issues efficiently.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and other household equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand appliance functionality and identify issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
- Assemble and install new appliances as required, ensuring proper operation before leaving the site.
- Operate a box truck for delivery of appliances when necessary, ensuring safe transport to customer locations.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used throughout the job process.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar field service role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with refrigerate systems is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service roles will be beneficial for effective client interactions.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently in various environments.
