Medical Insurance A/R Specialist
Responsibilities, Requirements & Overview:
This position is not to obtain claim status, but to effectively work with Accounts Receivable resulting in GANJ receiving payments. Must have comprehensive knowledge of medical insurance guidelines and regulations. The Insurance A/R Specialist MUST possess the ability to read EOBs. MUST have familiarity with government and commercial payers as well as the various products offered by each medical insurance carrier. Ensuring that the insurance carrier is reimbursing at the correct, contracted rate. Experience in working with rejections and denials efficiently to receive payments. Appeals - the ability and experience to write an effective appeals resulting in receiving payments. E-Clinical Works experience preferred. 2 years of experience in working in medical insurance Accounts Receivable is required.
