What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN Pharmacist - SPS Health Pharmacy position at On-Site Rx, Inc?
SPS Health Pharmacy, powered by On-Site Rx, has an exciting opportunity for a dependable and caring pharmacist to work on an as-needed basis in our Suffolk, VA site.
The pharmacy is open Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 6:00pm and Saturday, 9:00am - 12:00pm. We close for lunch from 1:30pm - 2:00 pm. Our distinctive work environment comes with opportunity for career growth and development with hours that support a healthy work – life balance.
On-Site Rx pharmacies offer a unique and innovative setting. We provide closed door pharmacy services for self-insured employers which means we will only be servicing Suffolk Public Schools' employees and their dependents on the health plan. The setting is similar in feel and operation to an independent retail pharmacy, but no outside insurance coverage is accepted – meaning issues with insurance carriers are limited.
Successful candidates will have the following:

- Strong work ethic
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a pharmacy team serving a diverse patient population
- Current Virginia pharmacist license without restriction or history of disciplinary action
- Must pass a background check and have a negative drug screen
