Job Description Job Description Job Title : Resident AssistantCBRF certification (All 4 Certificates).$16 / hr.Shifts : Part-time would be every other weekend and 2 days a week.Once shifts are available it canturn into full-time.2nd shift 3 pm – 11 pm based on schedule and every other weekend.3rd shift 11 pm – 7 am based on schedule and every other weekend.Education and experience :

• High school diploma or GED
• Competed in a state-approved CBRF program within a state-required time frame and was able to provide proof of competition with a certificate from certified trainers. Not successfully completing training modules or annual in-services will be cause for immediate dismissal from employment.
• Experience is not required but is preferred for the Resident Assistant position.
• Training is available for those individuals willing to learn the Resident Assistant role.
• Once in the role, training may be required or requested.Qualifications :
• Ability to understand instructions and complete all functions necessary for the role of a Resident Assistant.
• The ability to function with minimal supervision.
• Must have a tuberculosis testing done within the 30 days before start.Expectations :
• Must be a team player.
• Willing to help your co-workers even if the Resident might not be under your assignment.
• Follow all privacy guidelines regarding the health information of the Residents.
• Read and understand HIPAA guidelines.
• Keeping “gossip” and “Negativity” out of the workplace.
• Able to take direction from your immediate supervisor and administrator.
• Be able to familiarize yourself with individual Resident needs and care plans.
• Document accordingly and neatly for Resident charting. Every Resident on your assignment, every shift is required to be documented.Physical Demands :
• Frequent lifting of 25-30 pounds and / or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Exerting up to 35 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Is physically capable of safely performing the job-related duties of giving Resident care.Working Conditions :
• Job duties are performed with the CBRF community or in a prearranged area for activity-related outings.
• May be exposed to disagreeable conditions including odors, infection, and illness.
