*We are looking for 3 EXPEREINCED clamp forklift operators for 3rd shift, and 2 EXPEREIENCED clamp forklift operators for 2nd shift.*
Shifts Available:
- 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm) & 3rd Shift (11pm-7:00 a.m.)
4 Pre-Requisite Requirements:
- 1. High School Diploma or GED
- 2. Capable of passing a BACKGROUND CHECK (No violent criminal history)
- 3. Capable of passing a DRUG TEST
- 4. Capable of passing a MEDICAL/PHYSICAL (including a HEARING TEST)
- 5. Capable of passing an OPERATING TEST
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Clamp Forklift Operator (with the attachment that twists) to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating clamp attachment forklifts to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and adherence to OSHA safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts with clamp attachments, and other heavy equipment to move, load, and unload materials safely.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations set forth by OSHA.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically CLAMP ATTACHMENT FORKLIFTS - regular forklifts (stand up and sit-down, don't count, without the attachment).
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations.
- Ability to operate cranes and other specialized equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds) as required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
