We are seeking a Slitter Machine Operator to join our team!
Schedule Mon-Fri 7:30am-4pm
Payrate $30hr
Responsibilities:
- Operate slitting machines to cut materials accurately according to specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, to ensure precise measurements of materials.
- Installing spacers and knives.
- Assemble components as needed for machine setup and operation and also Installing spacers and knives.
- Perform routine maintenance on slitting equipment and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise.
- Fabricate parts using various tools such as lathes, milling machines, and press brake machines as required.
- Operate cranes safely for material handling during the production process.
- Implement laser cutting techniques when necessary for specific projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers.
- Experience operating slitting machines or similar equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with fabrication processes including assembly, milling, and laser cutting is advantageous.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and operate cranes safely.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality control throughout the production process.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
