Job Summary:
We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our expanding company as Laborers. The successful candidates will contribute to our team's success by performing a range of manual labor tasks in a professional and efficient manner. Pay will be based on experience, and while knowledge in highway painting and reading plans is preferred, we are willing to train the right individuals who are self-motivated and eager to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various manual labor tasks in accordance with established safety procedures and guidelines.
- Assist with highway painting projects, following provided instructions and specifications.
- Read plans and blueprints to understand project requirements and contribute to their successful completion.
- Operate and maintain equipment and tools necessary for the job, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring a neat and professional appearance.
Requirements:
- High motivation and a strong work ethic, with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Experience in highway painting and familiarity with reading plans is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
- High school diploma/GED and college diploma are not required.
Working Conditions:
- Typical start time: 7:00 AM.
- This is a non-remote position, requiring on-site presence.
- The job may involve exposure to various weather conditions and physical hazards.
- Personal protective equipment will be provided and must be worn as required.
