What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meat Department Associate position at On the Vine Marketplace?
On The Vine is now hiring 2 full time meat department associates. Nights and weekends required. We are only open until 7pm so no late nights! Must be 18 years of age!
What we look for in an employee:
People with a passion for food… vibrant, outgoing, engaging individuals interested in becoming part of a fast growing, fun and energetic, casual company…people who can not only engage the customer, but create a high energy shopping and work experience for the team. The meat department is looking for someone who will provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selection and inquiries. Assist in basic food prep such as patties, meatloaf, stuffed chicken and using the cryo-vac machine. Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed. Maintain a clean and organized meat department. Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Meat cutting experience is a plus but not required. We'll train the right people!
