Boat Detailer

On The Water Boat Cleaning, LLC is looking to hire a reliable, hard-working boat detailer to join our team for the upcoming season. This full-time position requires working Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed. The job will run from April through October, offering an opportunity to work in the beautiful coastal areas of Marblehead and Salem.

As a boat detailer, you will be responsible for ensuring boats are cleaned to a high standard. Tasks include washing, waxing, buffing, and detailing both the interior and exterior of various types of boats. You will be expected to use professional-grade equipment and cleaning products safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Clean, wash, and wax boats using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Detail both interior and exterior spaces, ensuring high-quality results.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow safety procedures while working with chemicals, tools, and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
• Help with other tasks as needed, such as organizing the work area or assisting with special projects.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in boat cleaning or detailing is highly recommended.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in a team environment and take direction.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Valid driver’s license (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
