Plumbing Apprentice/ Plumbing Installer/Tradesmen

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing industry while working under the guidance of experienced professionals. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will assist in various plumbing tasks, learn essential skills, and contribute to projects on construction sites and in residential or commercial settings.

Duties

• Assist licensed plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Help with pipe threading and fitting installations as directed.
• Support HVAC installations and repairs when required.
• Participate in field service calls to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to local building codes during all tasks.
• Learn to read blueprints and schematics related to plumbing systems.
• Develop basic math skills necessary for measuring and calculating materials.

Skills

• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
• Ability to plumb, build, and maintain various plumbing systems effectively.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
• Experience as a maintenance person or in related fields is beneficial.
• Knowledge of pipe threading techniques is advantageous.
• Mechanical knowledge to understand tools and equipment used in plumbing work.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment on construction sites.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
