Material Handler Job Description
We are seeking a material handler to join our team at On Time Staffing's warehouse in Whiteland, IN.
This role offers a competitive starting pay rate of $19 per hour and various shift options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading finished product onto pallets or hand trucks
- Moving materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated areas within the facility or onto trucks
- Picking and order processing
- Performing material handling duties related to product handling, including labeling, shrink wrapping, or banding
- Stacking skids or pallets in designated areas
- Providing cleaning services as needed to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Requirements:
- RF Scanner experience is required
- Electric pallet jack experience is also necessary
- The ability to lift and/or pull 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs in a group
- Must be able to reach, push, pull, bend, walk, and stand repeatedly
- Work at heights of up to 20 feet from the floor
- Able to read numbers, letters, and work instructions
- Availability to work irregular and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as needed by customer
