What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mail Courier position at On Top of the World?
Colen Built Development is an award-winning family-owned building and land development company located in Ocala, Florida. We have been making new home dreams come true over 70 years for over 50,000 home buyers.
The Interdepartmental Mail Courier is responsible for transporting messages, documents, packages and other items to On Top of the World locations and select local businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Obtains receipts or payments for articles delivered
- Transports monies from various locations to accounting office
- Transports deposits to banking institutions
- Delivers interoffice mail, supplies and equipment
- Transports bulk mail-outs, billings, marketing materials, etc.
- Replenishes postage permits
- Transports recycled products to drop off stations
- Transports and picks up permits, blueprints and other construction office needs
- Services vehicle driven, such as checking fluid levels and replenishing fuel
- Performs all duties in adherence to Company standards
- Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices
- Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida Drivers License with excellent driving history required
Skills and Knowledge:
- Must be able to read, write and understand English
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Working knowledge of office etiquette
- Must be able to read maps and follow directions

Certifications or Licenses
