Job Description: Security Officer – Unarmed (Fire Watch)

As a security officer your primary responsibility is to maintain a safe and secure environment. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Surveillance: Maintain a constant presence outside of store during non-business hours by walking the perimeter hourly.

4. Prevent theft: Actively deter vandalism, robbery and fire prevention by protecting the outside of building.

5. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to any security incident, accident, or emergencies. Follow established procedures and protocols for handling such situations.

6. Report Writing: Document all security related incidents including thefts accidents and disturbances. Prepare detailed Daily Activity/Incident reports as necessary. Report in every 30 minutes fire watch status updates. Security Officer must not leave site while on shift. Must report in at beginning/end of shifts.

7. Collaboration: Work closely with store management team and local law enforcement when needed to address security issues.

8. Patrol Vehicle: Officer must maintain safety and condition of on-site patrol vehicle.

Minimum Requirements:

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· 3 years prior work experience

· Valid / current BSIS security guard license

. Valid/Current Drivers License

· Strong observational skill and attention to detail

· Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations

· Aptitude for critical incident handling

· As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred):

· CPR/First Aid

· Foreign language proficiency

·· Impeccable character/integrity
