What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Tech position at On With Life Career Center?
This part-time position is two to three 4-hour evening shifts Monday-Friday, between the hours of 4:30p-10:00p, plus two 8-hour shifts every other weekend, between the hours of 5:30a-3:30p, for a total of 32-40 hours every 2-week period. The shift start and end times have some flexibility.
This position is part of a holiday rotation and may be scheduled 2-3 minor or major holidays per calendar year (with special holiday pay).
Housekeepers start at $16/hour with adjustments for previous experience. We do annual raises based on budget capacity, and you also have the opportunity for a discretionary bonus at your anniversary.

The rehabilitation process from a brain injury or other neurological condition is a 24/7 job for each person served, and Housekeeping Techs and the rest of our Facilities team ensure a clean and safe environment for them along the way.

What do Housekeeping Technicians do?
The Housekeeping Technician provides a full range of housekeeper services to ensure a clean and safe environment for our persons served to heal and rehabilitate in, including:
- cleaning, disinfecting, and trash removal in activity areas, person served rooms, and offices
- sweeping, mopping and dusting as needed
- assisting with Laundry Services as needed
