High School Boys Head Soccer Coach

Position Overview :

Onalaska School District is seeking a motivated and experienced Head High School Boys Soccer Coach to lead and inspire our student-athletes. This role focuses on fostering skill development, discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork, contributing to a positive and competitive soccer program.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement practice plans, game strategies, and skill development sessions to ensure individual and team success.
• Demonstrate expertise in soccer techniques and strategies at a high school competitive level.
• Exhibit loyalty and dedication to the Onalaska sports programs.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment for student-athletes, ensuring adherence to medical and safety guidelines.
• Travel with the team to games and ensure proper supervision at all events.
• Enforce discipline policies, promoting sportsmanship and healthy lifestyles.
• Act as a positive role model for students, exemplifying good sportsmanship, integrity, and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate records, complete necessary paperwork, and adhere to financial policies.
• Work collaboratively with the Athletic Director on scheduling and program coordination.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with students, staff, parents, and community members.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED required.

Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.

Must be at least 21 years old.

Criminal Justice Fingerprint / Background Clearance.

Additional Information :

Marginal duties include attending staff trainings, inspecting equipment and facilities for safety, and chaperoning athletic events as needed.
