Groundskeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining beautiful landscapes and ensuring that outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and well-kept. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, lawn care, and general groundskeeping duties. The Groundskeeper will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of our property while ensuring the health and vitality of the plants and lawns.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Care for gardens by planting, watering, weeding, and fertilizing plants to promote healthy growth.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various groundskeeping tasks.
• Irrigate lawns and gardens as needed to ensure proper hydration of plants.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas by removing debris and litter.
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to optimize water usage.
• Monitor plant health and identify any issues such as pests or diseases, taking appropriate action when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to complete larger landscaping projects as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred.
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques, including mowing, fertilizing, and pest control.
• Familiarity with operating various power tools and hand tools used in landscaping work.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work quality.
• Basic understanding of irrigation systems is a plus but not mandatory.
• A valid driver's license may be required for transportation between job sites.
