We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Demand Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and forecasting the demand for aerospace parts and components, ensuring an efficient supply chain, and helping to maintain optimal stock levels to meet customer and production requirements. The role involves close collaboration with various departments, including procurement, sales, and production, to ensure accurate forecasting and timely delivery of products.
THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION
Key Responsibilities :
Demand Forecasting : Develop and maintain demand forecasts for aerospace parts and components, using historical data, sales trends, and market analysis.
Inventory Management : Collaborate with supply chain and inventory management teams to ensure proper inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and avoid overstocking.
Data Analysis : Leverage advanced software such as SAP, and tools like Power BI for analysis and visualization.
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) : Participate in the S&OP process by providing demand data and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align supply and demand.
Collaboration : Work closely with sales, operations, engineering, and procurement teams to gather insights, understand market trends, and ensure timely supply of materials.
Process Improvement : Continuously evaluate and improve forecasting and demand planning processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness.
Reporting : Generate and maintain reports on demand forecasts, inventory levels, order status, and key performance metrics for internal stakeholders.
Risk Management : Identify potential risks related to supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans to mitigate any impact on demand fulfillment.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Data Analytics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
3-5 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of demand forecasting methodologies and tools (e.g., ERP systems, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Experience with inventory management and production planning.
Proficient in data analysis and working with large datasets.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Desired Skills :
Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations.
Familiarity with aerospace-specific supply chain challenges and strategies.
Certification in APICS or related demand planning certifications is a plus.
