What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parking Patroller - Denver, CO Fulltime 9:30pm - 6:00am position at OnCall Parking Manager?
This is important fieldwork in the enforcement of client parking ordinances and regulations and the issuing of parking notices for violations. Employees in this position are expected to be able to perform any and all work tasks and comply with any work schedules, attendance, or duty requirements that may be established by OnCall Patrol or company rules. Work is reviewed through observation, conferences and the analysis of activities.

Duties:
- Work involves patrolling an assigned area, checking vehicles for improper parking and issuing violation notices to violators.
- Determines and enters vehicle data and appropriate parking violation codes on a handheld computer/cellphone; and attaches violation notices to the vehicle.
- Patrols a regularly assigned area to check for parking violations within the client properties.
- Updates expired vehicle registration
- Issues parking violations and boots or requests the towing of vehicles in accordance with violation procedures and the client property’s parking policy.
- Drives company vehicle to patrol assigned area, maintains assigned equipment, completes reports, and maintains records.
- Attends and completes required training as assigned.
- Coordinates with other staff members on signage, booting, parking exceptions, and other parking needs.
- Maintain inventory of supplies including parking warnings, signs, markers, violation cards.
- Performs related work as assigned.
Desirable Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED equivalency.
- Valid Florida driver’s license with no points or suspensions within the last two (2) years.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of local geography, buildings, and agencies.
- Skill in the operation of a handheld computer unit (cellphone) and a specialized motor vehicle.
- Ability to prepare records and reports.
- Ability to enforce parking regulations firmly and impartially.
- Ability to professionally and tactfully interact with clients and solve and address any concerns or problems.
- Ability to respond to step-by-step commands of the handheld computer and to input numerical data accurately.
- Ability to work outdoors under varying weather conditions.
- Ability to express ideas effectively and to obtain accurate information and prepare complete and concise reports.

Necessary Special Requirements:
If assigned duties require the use of a personal motor vehicle, a valid US Driver’s License, and an automobile insurance policy that meets the minimum requirements of liability established by the State of Colorado for property damage and personal injury coverage must be current.
Ability to speak English and Spanish preferred.
Work hours are for 3rd shift between the hours of 9:30 pm - 6:00 am and include nights, weekends, and on-call availability.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed primarily outside, including during inclement weather, travel from site to site in residential or commercial environments, and subject to exhaust fumes, dust, pollen, and insect bites.
