What are the responsibilities and job description for the Critical Care/Trauma Physician position at OnCall Solutions?

Must be comfortable with ICU patients

Opportunity Details :

Shift : 7p- 7a (needs are Sunday- Thursday)

Manage PRN issues for Medical ICU patients (CCU patients and overflow ICU / stepdown patients on 3T not surgical ICU patients).

Usual volume is 4-12 patients

ICU admissions typical 0 to 2 per shift

Receive handoff from residents at start of shift and give sign-out at end of shift

Also covers floor phone / PRN issues on 5L patients

Ability to do central lines (internal jugular vein approach) and arterial lines (radial artery approach) is a benefit, but not required.

Basic ventilator management. In-house Respiratory Therapy.

In-house Anesthesia. No intubations.

Requirements :

Must be physician (no APPs in ICU)

Must have unrestricted license, DEA, ACLS

Can be Medicine or surgery trained or subspecialties (Gastro, Neuro, Plastics, rheumatology, etc). No Family Medicine
