About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Once Again Nut Butter. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform daily quality checks on production lines to ensure compliance with product and safety specifications.
- Inspect quality of product and work environment to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production staff to resolve any quality or food safety issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of quality checks, inspections, and any issues identified.
- Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with SQF System requirements.
- Support Lean/Continuous Improvement efforts within the organization.
- Provide training support for new quality technicians or cross-training support for existing quality technicians as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- HACCP - Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Sage 100 Inventory software, and other relevant systems.
