What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Specialist position at Once Upon a Child?
Once Upon a Child in Brighton is looking for an inventory specialist to join our store team in Brighton, Michigan. This person will be responsible for:
- Tagging all apparel, shoes, toys, and equipment.
- Hanging of all apparel following hanger rules for consistency.
- Putting out all equipment, toys and shoes on the sales floor in a timely manner per store standards.
- Assist customers with questions about merchandise.
- Keeping the sales floor clean & aisle clear
- Become familiar with products, brands and prices and make recommendations of products, including their features and benefits, to suit customers’ needs.
- Be able to look at the sale floor and make judgments on what can/cannot go out.
- Be cheerful and helpful to customers.
Requirements:
- Entry Level Position.
- Must be able to work 20 hours per week with some weekend shifts.
- Must be reliable.
