Purchasing Specialist needed! Onco360 Pharmacy is a unique oncology pharmacy model created to serve the needs of community, oncology and hematology physicians, patients, payers, and manufacturers. We have an immediate need for a Purchasing Specialist to join our growing team. Seeking candidates within commuting distance to our pharmacy locations, to work Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm CST.

Purchasing Specialist Major Responsibilities:
Education/Learning Experience
Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
Desired: Associate’s degree or higher education preferred.
Work Experience
Required: 3 to 5 years of purchasing experience, 2 to 3 years of inventory experience.
Desired: 7 years of purchasing experience, 5 years of inventory experience
Skills/Knowledge
Required: Working knowledge of electronic spreadsheet software, computerized inventory management systems and PC applications (Microsoft office products).
Desired: Working knowledge of CPR . Background in Warehouse Management Systems.

Purchasing Specialist Major Responsibilities:
- Perform daily purchasing for the Onco360 network, utilizing purchasing analytics and adhering to supplier contracts.
- Work to prevent out of stock occurrences by monitoring sales trends.
- Maintain product costs in CPR
- Support inter-company product transfers to reduce the need for purchasing and mitigate loss due to expiration of product.
- Maintain stock levels within acceptable “days on-hand” constraints.
- Effectively communicate critical cut-off times and specific purchase requirements to necessary Operations staff.
- Provide assistance, back-up and fill-in for other Purchasing/Inventory obligations as needed.
