Onco360 is a unique Oncology Pharmacy model created to serve the needs of community, oncology and hematology physicians, patients, payers, and manufacturers. Our Onco360 Pharmacy in Louisville, KY has a need for a Oncology Nurse Supervisor to join our growing team! The hours for this position will be 8:30-5 EST M-F. This position is remote but you must live within commutable distance to our pharmacy location in Louisville, KY.
Provides professional services to oncology patients in a manner that maximizes patient medication adherence, mitigates the occurrence of adverse events, and improves overall therapy experience. The Oncology Nurse Supervisor is a nursing professional who specializes in caring for patients with cancer while overseeing a growing team of oncology nurses who provide medication therapy management (MTM) services directly to oncology patients.

Oncology Nurse Supervisor Position Responsibilities:
- Oversees clinical operations for all nursing clinical support activities
- Collaborates with all departments to achieve organizational objectives
- Performs telephonic communication with oncology patients (adult and pediatric) to engage in medication therapy management (MTM) services with the goal of assessing medication compliance, assessing occurrence of medication side effects, and improving patient duration of therapy and overall treatment experience
- Resolves any ongoing barriers to medication adherence with the patient, caregiver, and/or prescriber
- Mitigates any identified medication side effects within scope of practice utilizing over-the-counter medications, lifestyle modifications, dietary modifications, and/or prescription medications
- Coordinates ongoing oncology patient care with the prescribing physician, nurse practitioner, and/or physician assistant or authorized designee
- Documentation of adverse events and products complaints per contractual obligations to pharmaceutical manufacturers.
- Performs medication reconciliation to identify newly prescribed medications or newly discontinued medications
- Review electronic medical records of adult and pediatric oncology patients.
- Documents all communication with physicians, or other healthcare providers.
- Troubleshoots workflow related concerns to appropriate internal departments (i.e. implementation, information technology)
- Hires and coordinates training for all nursing personnel
- Coordinate the completion of performance evaluations for applicable nursing staff
- Coordinates regular meetings with all nursing staff to identify areas for workflow improvement
- Complies with professional practice and patient confidentiality laws
- Completes other tasks as assigned.

Oncology Nurse Supervisor Position Qualifications:
Education/Learning Experience
- Required: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Desired: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Work Experience
- Required: 5 years in oncology nursing experience
- Desired: 2 years in specialty pharmacy nursing experience
Skills/Knowledge
- Required: compassion, good communication skills, critical thinking, adaptability, attention to detail
- Desired: clinical, case management experience
Licenses/Certifications
- Required: Current license as registered nurse; oncology certified nurse (OCN) via ONCC
- Desired: Multi-state licensure outside of nursing licensure compact (NLC
