What you'll need:
· The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is responsible for diagnostic and therapeutic management of patients including complete medical history, establishing diagnoses through tests, prescribing medications, and formulating treatment plans. Provides follow-up treatments and care to patients in accordance with protocols established by physicians.
· Determines appropriate level of E/M coding after each visit.
· Responds to all administrative tasks assigned in EHR including patient cases, results, refills, and phone messages.
· Reviews diagnostic tests and lab work and communicates results with patients.
· Assists with rounding and assists with calls if needed.
· Complies with all prescriptive authority guidelines from the Texas Medical Board.
· Complies with the use of Prescriptive Monitoring Program (PMP)
What you'll need:
· Master’s degree in Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant studies. Must also hold current and unrestricted License by Texas State Board of Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistant .
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience as physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
· Must be able to communicate effectively with patients and staff members, must be able to create and maintain positive rapport with patients, physician, and other staff members.
· Other duties to be assigned as necessary and may vary at times, as needed by your immediate supervisor, or as directed by the company.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000 per year
