Position Summary
As a Data Analytics Manager within our Transmission Engineering team at Oncor, you’ll be responsible to staff, train, develop, and supervise a team of Transmission Engineering Analysts to ensure the equipment, data, and material needs for Transmission Projects are accurately tracked, forecasted, ordered, and delivered. Transmission Engineering is accountable for planning, organizing, directing, and managing the engineering design, requisitioning of material and equipment, land, and construction support of transmission lines, switching stations, and load-serving substation facilities.
This position is a hybrid in our 777 Main St – Fort Worth location.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor emerging issues on projects to ensure they are resolved to meet targeted in-service dates.
- Ensure Work Authorizations, invoicing, and various reporting needs in Transmission are timely and accurate.
- Ensure documentation for SOX, audit, regulatory, and compliance related requests and objectives are met.
- Responsible for identifying, developing, improving, and implementing key processes in Transmission Engineering to ensure controls and accuracy against performance measures.
- Evaluate priorities and risks and direct corrective actions to ensure project in-service dates, and budget levels are met.
- Work with a cross functional team across Transmission Engineering, Transmission Operations, Construction Management, Financial Support, Transmission Program Management Office (TPMO), and Strategic sourcing to ensure successful and timely completion of key Transmission Programs.
- Coordinate with the Oncor's PETE team to maintain, update and ensure internal tools that supports needs of the Engineers along with data gathering, and data storage.
- Support all Transmission Engineering work practices.
- Create a comprehensive growth plan for the analyst team.
- Effectively oversees the management of a large number of projects while maintaining work product quality, reliability, and volume.
- Effectively understand the overall goals of the Transmission organization and assist in the implementation of those goals.
- Directs safety awareness programs and creates a culture committed to safe work practices.
- Performs all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements.

- Knowledge and understanding on Alteryx and Tableau.
- Knowledge and experience with of Microsoft Office programs; including MS Excel.
- Knowledge of related existing and evolving supply chain and financial processes and practices.
- Knowledge of transmission line/switching station/substation design, estimating, materials management, construction, and operations issues.
- Knowledge and understanding of company policies.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and Minimum of five plus years of experience in large scale data management in transmission/distribution operations with an electric utility required.
- Applicants with Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, accounting/finance and/or have People Management experience encouraged to apply.
- Applicants with experience managing large programs or initiatives; supportive and a catalyst of continuous improvement encouraged to apply.
