Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a large number of projects.
- Utilize Geographic Information System (GIS) software to precisely add/update assets reflected through OMS and as built documentation.
- Utilize Geographic Information System (GIS) software and precisely add/update Landbase features allowing designers to estimate work orders (WO) more efficiently and provide a tie to Customer Care & Billing (CC&B)/ Outage Management System (OMS)
- Work in various roles to support emergency restoration as needed.
- Ensure work is in accordance with Safety practices and policies.
- Ensure work is in accordance with Oncor’s Code of Conduct.
- Connectivity, phasing, protective devices and resolution of errors within variious software platfroms during the lifecycle.
- Participate and complete assigned technical and safety training.
- Develop and maintain sound business relationships with clients and various Oncor colleagues in multiple functional areas.
- Cooperate with Oncor employees on a project basis.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Assist in training of assigned technical and safety training.
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in order to ensure all systems accurately reflect field infrastructure.
- Proficient utilization of Industrial/Design Software and other systems such as Enterprise Assest Management Software, Outage Management System (OMS), Distribution Management System (DMS), Financial Integration Management (FIM), Automated Construction Information System (ACIS), Cognos reporting, and others.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and SharePoint.
- Adaptable to changing technologies and ability to navigate between various software/programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of working with people of diverse backgrounds and varying levels of experience.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and multi-task to complete assignments on time to meet SOX compliance.
- Ability to manage a large number of projects efficiently and accurately
- Effectively communicates on deadlines and tasks.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
- Applicants with 1 years of related experience encouraged to apply.
- Applicants with GIS software experience such as AeGIS, ArcPro, Arc Desktop and Adobe experience encouraged to apply.
- 2 years’ experience in Distribution.
- Fosters and maintains positive working relationships with peers and develop strong network with key personnel.
- Must have thorough knowledge of the Electrical Distribution system and how it works.
- Ability to interface with external business partners in a professional manner.
- Perform duties in a safe manner.
- Continuing knowledge of various software platforms (Reactive to storms and other emergencies) as well as various map corrections.
