The Transmission Program Management Office (TPMO) holds responsibility for strategic long-range planning, monitoring and risk/issue management of the Transmission portfolio of capital projects. The primary responsibilities of the TPMO are project coordination, scheduling and resourcing oversight, budget forecasting, information streamlining, and internal/external reporting.
With minimal supervision, the Schedule Analyst will be responsible for implementing the Transmission capital program scheduling activities, such as initial district and construction schedule creation, status, and tracking. This will include the Schedule Analyst proactively preparing for construction start and ensuring all criteria has been met, conducting analysis across all schedule functions to resolve any conflicts, and communicating updates to stakeholders in a timely manner to ensure project progress and any impacts to critical path are understood.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Directly or through others, the incumbent:
- Provide scheduling support of the Transmission capital plan through the creation of accurate construction schedules and proactive preparation of upcoming construction through analysis and schedule integrity checks.
- Create, status, and track Transmission capital projects schedules and provide timely progress updates to stakeholders.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with internal and external work groups to obtain necessary data to support/develop scheduling activities, project analysis and issues resolution
- With minimal direction, proactively monitor a portfolio of released transmission projects providing schedule/status information and identify risks to on-schedule completion through the proper escalation channels as needed.
- With minimal direction, partner with TPMO teams to support the coordination of schedules with financial and resource loading across projects.
- With minimal direction, develop, document, own, and maintain processes needed within the TPMO to facilitate project/program coordination between various Oncor workgroups and activities to support program scheduling activities.
- Development and support of project coordination and information streamlining tools/processes using an innovative mindset to build efficiencies across the organization.
- Support all TPMO work practices.
- Support Scheduling Supervisor on special projects as assigned.
- Performs all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements.
Education and experience: Schedule Analyst (TPMO)
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent is required; college degree preferred.
- Two years’ experience in scheduling construction projects and/or program/project management preferred
- Project Planning Analyst Sr. (TPMO Scheduler): High school diploma GED or equivalent required; college degree preferred. Four years of experience in scheduling construction projects and/or program/project management preferred
- Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
- Experience managing large programs or initiatives; supportive and a catalyst of continuous improvement
- Ability to solve problems and work an agile plan
- Possess organizational & multi-tasking skills to effectively manage large volumes of work
- Attention to detail and ability to create and analyze various scheduling reports
- Knowledge and experience with of Microsoft Office programs and data visualization tools; MS Excel and Tableau
- Knowledge and experience with scheduling tools such as Primavera (p6) preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of company policies
- Successful implementation of Transmission capital plan by demonstrating ability to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control all programs/projects across the Transmission portfolio and completing projects on budget and on schedule as planned.
- Ability to manage Transmission capital project schedules according to organizational goals.
- Ability to execute timely reporting, analysis, and status of project schedules.
- Ability to identify scheduling conflicts or risks across multiple functions in a proactive manner and appropriately escalate and mitigate.
