As a US-based warranty provider, we provide expertise in safety and homecare to our customers. Our integrated solutions meet customer needs both inside and outside the home. Inside the home we protect critical aspects of home function such as plumbing, heating and cooling, appliances, power surges, hot water heater, and interior electrical. Outside the home we provide protection for critical lines (water, gas, wells, sewers, electric and septic). We primarily go to market B2B2C, partnering mostly with water/gas/electric utilities and municipalities to offer our product leveraging their brand for marketing and often adding our subscription fee to the water/gas/electric bill itself. The prime responsibility of the IHT Field Operations Supervisor is to ensure a high-quality customer experience, conduct physical inspections of jobs to ensure quality and safety and supervising day to day operations. This role will assist the Field Service Manager in setting and monitoring performance goals, safety, and regulatory compliance for their direct reports of technicians and plumbers to ensure they are delivering best-in-class quality 100% of the time.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Inspecting HVAC and plumbing jobs including installation for quality, safety, and cleanliness
• Partner with service manager and safety manager to ensure line of business policies are being followed in the field
• Responsible for creating a structure and process that includes job site visits to inspect S&R, maintenance and installation of equipment for quality, potential hazards, cleanliness, ensure customers receive copy of work order, permits and new furnace stickers to track maintenance and repairs
• Take photos and document findings with action plan of any follow up activities and report up to management
• Organizational and time management skills
• Good interpersonal skills to be able to lead direct reports in a positive, effective way that results in engaged employees and high-quality performance
• Comfort with technology, including software and report-writing knowledge

Experience and Qualifications for the Role:

• 5 years of HVAC installation and field experience
• General computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft & Google Suites
• Knowledge on how to use and navigate an iPad

Education

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Work Experience
• Valid HVAC certification OR will also accept vocational/skill training experience in HVAC in lieu of certification

We offer a compelling total rewards package that includes a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits to support your total wellbeing. The base pay range for this position is $53,000 - $75,000 USD Annual. The specific pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, education and skill set. The compensation offered may also include an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive plan or commission target.
