We are searching for a Manufacturing Technician to become a member of our Manufacturing team. The responsibility of this individual will include product fabrication, inspection, testing, and accurate reporting of test and inspection results. Responsibilities:
- Performing Quality Assurance measurements of Onda's products and documenting results
- Building electronics, electro-mechanical systems, measurement devicesscientific instruments
- Basic troubleshooting of measurement products, including RMAs from Onda's customers
- Documenting product records (Device History Records), ensuring the integrity of related data
- Maintaining laboratory equipment in accordance with procedures and good housekeeping practices
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentfamiliar with quality management systems (in an ISO environment) and MRP systems
- Experience assembling products using basic hand and power tools
- Comfortable using a Windows PC and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with oscilloscopes and test equipmentAA degree or equivalent in electronics is a plus
- Hand soldering experience is highly desirablefor component-level, circuit board assembly
- Ability to follow instructions, demonstrating self-sufficiency
- Good organizational and decision-making skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good dexterity and hand-eye coordination for assembly of components that are often very small
- Preference for teamwork
