We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and oversee our Quality department, ensuring our products meet the highest regulatory and customer standards. This role is responsible for driving compliance, managing quality systems, and leading continuous improvement efforts to maintain the excellence of our product delivery.
- Oversee quality systems and processes to ensure compliance with government regulations, industry certifications, and customer requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison for all quality-related matters, including customer interactions, regulatory audits, and government compliance.
- Maintain and enhance the Quality Manual, ensuring all internal procedures align with the latest standards.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure the organization adheres to quality compliance requirements.
- Lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement, preventative actions, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to support operational efficiency.
- Manage and mentor the quality team, setting performance goals and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and quality outcomes.
- Investigate customer complaints, conduct audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine manufacturing processes and training programs.
- Implement strategies to improve inspection processes, tool performance, product quality, and overall efficiency.
- Ensure all materials align with specifications, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access).
- Strong knowledge of ISO compliance; ISO9001/AS9100 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
- Familiarity with MRP systems (SAP experience preferred).
- Expertise in statistical analysis and quality control methodologies.
- Experience with Material and Inventory Control systems, including Kanban, SMI, and Continuous Flow Manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience implementing lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams, coach employees, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manufacturing industry experience, specifically in quality control and production.
- Solid knowledge of metrology equipment, calibration, and inspection techniques.
