Body Shop Technician

Vance Collision Center A Division of One Automotive Group is currently recruiting for a Body Shop Technician to join our well established and growing body shop team. The Body Shop Technician is responsible for repairing damaged bodies and body parts of vehicles of all makes and models. This position requires the ability to carefully and accurately, read work orders, to mend and fit auto body parts as well as produce high quality craftsmanship.

Essential Functions:

• Acquires and maintains thorough knowledge of all equipment, supplies, and repairing processes.
• Continues to develop additional technical skills as necessary to enable flexibility in work assignments.
• Performs assigned vehicle repairs by following dealership, manufacturer, ICAR repair procedures, including warranty work.
• Completes any and all miscellaneous small repairs or helps in other areas of production as needed.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Must be able to take direction and work well with others.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Qualifications:

• 1 year of previous experience as a Body Shop Tech preferred
• High School degree or equivalent
• Technical degree as a Body Shop Tech preferred, but additional experience would be accepted
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record to meet dealership insurability guidelines
• Ability to read and understand manual/computerized data and measurements
• Ability to use various hand and power tools, welders, grinders, and frame machines
