Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Laboratory Supervisor to lead our laboratory team in a dynamic clinical environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical laboratory operations and project management, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and CLIA standards. This role will involve overseeing laboratory procedures, facilitating research development, and managing data collection processes to support our ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily laboratory operations, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety standards.
- Manage and mentor laboratory staff, providing guidance on best practices in genetics and laboratory procedures.
- Oversee project management activities, coordinating research efforts and timelines to meet organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and CLIA requirements in all laboratory activities.
- Develop and implement new laboratory procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy in data collection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, including experiments, results, and quality control measures.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on new techniques and regulatory updates.
Requirements
1. Qualified as a Director for high-complexity testing; OR
2. Qualified as a Technical Supervisor for high complexity testing; OR
3. Doctoral degree in clinical laboratory science or chemical, physical or
biological science with 1 year training and experience in high-complexity
testing; OR
4. Master's degree in clinical laboratory science, medical technology or
chemical, physical or biological science and 1 year training and experience
in high-complexity testing; OR
5. Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, medical technology or
chemical, physical or biological science and 1 year training and experience
in high-complexity testing; OR
6. Associate degree in medical laboratory technology (or pulmonary function)
and 2 years laboratory (or blood gas analysis) training or experience, or
both, in high complexity testing

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
