Responsibilities
Prospect Development & Portfolio Management
- Research and build a portfolio of donor prospects, starting with OBH’s vendor network and expanding beyond.
- Support donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts.
- Partner with the Executive Office to leverage relationships within the vendor ecosystem.
- Provide monthly donor pipeline updates and gather strategic input from the Board.
- Coordinate with internal departments to align funding priorities and identify partnership opportunities.
- Assist the Director of Development with campaign execution
- Maintain accurate donor records and documentation of engagement efforts.
- Support the preparation of proposals, reports, and presentations for fundraising initiatives.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 3-5 year experience in fundraising, business development, or corporate partnerships, preferably within nonprofit settings.
- Strong relationship management and communication skills to engage donors, corporate partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in donor research, CRM/database management, and financial analysis to identify and track giving opportunities (experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar platforms is a plus).
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fractional/part-time capacity.
- Position requires prolonged periods of sitting and use of a computer and screen viewing throughout the working day.
- Position will be required to stoop, bend, lift, and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
