With over 600 providers across more than 50 specialties, OBH serves the Brooklyn community through various healthcare services. OBH also sponsors training programs in multiple disciplines and fellowships in specialties like Hematology & Oncology, Endocrinology, Neuroendovas ular and Nephrology.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Primary Care Provider located in Brooklyn, NY. The Primary Care Provider will be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, providing preventive care, managing chronic conditions, and coordinating patient care with other specialists. The role involves direct patient interactions, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care. Excellent communication and patient education are essential components of the daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
- Experience in Training and educating patients
- Knowledge of Value-based Care and Population Health
- Ability to work effectively in a healthcare team
- Desire to Train Residents and Medical Students is preferred
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of New York
- Experience working in a diverse and underserved community. OBH is located in a
Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA).
