Job Title: Campus Pastor


Location: North Campus


Position Summary: The Campus Pastor is responsible for providing spiritual leadership and pastoral care for a specific ONE* Church, North Campus ensuring alignment with the church’s mission, vision, and core values. This individual will oversee all campus operations, lead staff and ONE* Team, and foster a vibrant, Christ-centered community. The Campus Pastor will focus on shepherding, preaching, team leadership, and community engagement to reach and disciple people for Jesus Christ.


Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Vision

• Cast vision and align the campus ministry with the overarching mission of the church.

• Inspire and lead staff, ministry leaders, and volunteers to advance the church’s spiritual and organizational goals.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and spiritual growth among the campus team.


2. Pastoral Care

• Provide pastoral care and counseling to individuals and families within the campus.

• Conduct weddings, funerals, baptisms, and other pastoral duties as needed.

• Encourage and mentor staff, leaders, and members in their spiritual journey.


3. Weekend Worship Services

• Oversee the execution of dynamic, engaging, and Christ-centered worship services.

• Deliver sermons, ensuring biblically sound and relevant teaching that is congruent with the current ONE* Church sermon series.

• Collaborate with the central teaching team to contextualize messages for the campus.


4. Community Engagement and Outreach

• Build relationships with local organizations, schools, and leaders to serve the community effectively.

• Develop and implement strategies for evangelism and outreach to unchurched and underserved populations.


5. Discipleship and Small Groups

• Promote spiritual formation by equipping members to grow as disciples of Christ.

• Oversee small groups, classes, and other discipleship initiatives.

• Identify and develop emerging leaders within the campus community.


6. Campus Operations

• Oversee day-to-day campus operations, including facilities, budgets, and events.

• Ensure alignment with church-wide policies, procedures, and standards.

• Provide leadership in volunteer recruitment, training, and deployment.


7. Collaboration with Central Church Leadership

• Work closely with the Lead Pastor to ensure unity across campuses.

• Participate in church-wide leadership meetings, trainings, and events.

• Communicate campus-specific needs, challenges, and successes to the central team.


Qualifications


Spiritual Qualifications

• A mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, marked by prayer, humility, and integrity.

• Agreement with the church’s statement of faith and doctrinal beliefs.

• A passion for the Great Commission and the Great Commandment.


Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry, or a related field preferred

• Proven experience in pastoral ministry, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.

• Experience in leading teams, preaching, and fostering community engagement.


Skills and Competencies

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to connect with diverse groups of people and build relationships.

• Competent in conflict resolution, team building, and volunteer development.

• Comfortable with multi-site church dynamics and technology.


Work Schedule and Expectations

• Regular office hours, weekend services, and midweek ministry events.

• Availability for emergencies, weddings, funerals, and other pastoral responsibilities.

• Willingness to adapt to the unique needs of the campus and community.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Growth in campus attendance, small group participation, and volunteer engagement.

• Effectiveness of outreach and community impact initiatives.

• Spiritual health and growth of staff, volunteers, and congregants.

• Alignment with the mission, vision, and goals of the larger church.
