In this role, you will assist experienced fiber optic splicers with splicing fiber optic cables and ensuring optimal connectivity for our telecommunications projects. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of service and reliability. No experience is necessary to start.
Responsibilities
- Perform splicing of fiber optic cables with precision and accuracy.
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper installation and connectivity.
- Conduct field service operations, including climbing and building network infrastructure.
- Maintain safety protocols while working at heights or in various environments.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of splicing activities.
Requirements
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
- Physical capability to climb and work at heights safely.
- Basic knowledge of communications systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service.
- Aptitude for hands-on work with a focus on details.
