What You’ll Learn & Do:
- Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and medical history
- Provide patient education and support around treatment and follow-up care
- Gain exposure to real clinical settings and learn key dental assisting skills

Apprenticeship Benefits & Details:
- 12–14-month program
- 297 hours of online classroom learning
- 2000 hours on-the-job skills training
- Radiology Health and Safety Exam (RHS)
- No healthcare experience required
- Opportunity at our clinics in Hood River and The Dalles, Oregon
Minimum Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Proof of High School Diploma or GED.
- Copy of Diploma, GED certificate or original/official transcript mailed in a sealed envelope from the school from an institution recognized in the U.S education system.
- If High School is outside of the U.S or Canada:
- Copy of high school or postsecondary diploma/transcript with graduation date.
- Copy of document translated into English.
- Original/official equivalency report in a sealed enveloped from the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services or the American Association of Collegiate registrars and Admissions Officers. DANB will return all original documents.

Compensation:
- Hourly/Non-Exempt: Starting at $20 per hour
- Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
