What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant- Stevenson & White Salmon, WA position at One Community Health?
One Community Health is seeking experienced Medical Assistants to join our Washington clinic team to work in both Stevenson and White Salmon. We welcome both certified and non-certified candidates with a minimum of one year of experience in a medical setting. This position offers a Monday-Friday schedule, ranging from 36 to 40 hours per week, with potential weekend opportunities after a 90-day training period.
General duties include patient intake and processing, assisting with treatments and procedures, patient
instruction and patient education. Facilitate patient triage as a communication liaison between patient, medical provider and licensed nurse. Additional duties include quality control checks, performance improvement, supply stocking, equipment sterilization, patient records management, and patient scheduling.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in medical setting.
- High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual- English/Spanish
- Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Records.

Compensation:
- Hourly/Non-Exempt: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour, dependent on experience
- Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
- Weekend Differential: This position receives base hourly pay along with an extra $10.00 for each hour worked on weekends.
- Milage Reimbursement: In accordance with OCH policy.
