What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branch Manager position at One Credit Union?
The Branch Manager will be responsible for managing overall sales goals, business development, operations, service levels, and culture of their respective branch. They are responsible for mentoring, coaching, and supporting all Retail staff in the branch.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Must ensure that all members receive unparalleled service in all interactions
- Will balance risk with member service to ensure the organization is protected
- Responsible for monitoring and achieving all sales and service goals for the branch as set by the Credit Union
- Drives sales by setting an example and by mentoring and coaching staff
- Ensures that all lending and deposit needs are met appropriately and in compliance with all Credit Union Policy and Procedures
- Leads team and provides necessary training to ensure the operational soundness of branch including security, cash, and regulatory requirements
- Will partner with other lines of business in making quality member referrals
- Responsible for the branch facility and building upkeep including cleaning, landscaping, and snow plowing
- Will ensure the branch is ingrained in the community thereby championing the Credit Union’s commitment to community involvement
- Recruit and recommend qualified applicants for vacancies, ensuring that the Credit Union is adequately staffed with competent employees
- Evaluate the job performance of retail staff to include salary increases recommendations
- Contributes to building a positive team environment through meaningful coaching – both formal and informal
- Leads their team to perform effectively and efficiently and provides meaningful mentoring and coaching to aide in their professional growth and development.
