Qualifications
- Manage a busy front office
- Efficient in time management
- Punctual, respectful, and organized
- Friendly excellent phone etiquette-greet patients warmly and ensure a positive experience
- Ability to manage multi-line phone
- Answer phone calls, Schedule new and future appointments, take messages
- Manage appointment calendar (rescheduling, cancellations, booking emergency appointments, filling open time slots with last minute requests) ensuring an efficient schedule
- Calling patients for follow-ups
- Gather patient personal and insurance information
- Enter patient insurance/payment information into practice management system and conduct insurance verification
- Collect co-pays, as well as any open balances
- Submit insurance claims and follow up on rejected claims
- Collect and process any information sent via email including patient records and appointment requests
- Knowledge of Dentrix dental software is a plus
- Experience as a dental receptionist or personal assistant is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- No weekends
