Additionally, we are leading an R&D effort to develop near-autonomous consulting solutions through cutting-edge AI technologies, with an NSF grant submission in progress.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to work directly with small and medium businesses, understand their operational challenges, and apply AI-driven approaches to improve their workflows. The role also involves contributing to a potential NSF grant project, including designing and architecting innovative AI-driven R&D solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage with small and medium businesses to analyze their workflow, identify inefficiencies, and develop AI-based solutions.
- Design, develop, and fine-tune AI models, with a focus on reinforcement learning and multi-agentic automation.
- Collaborate on an NSF grant project, helping to architect and refine a research problem related to AI-driven business consulting.
- Deploy AI models and applications using Docker for scalability and reliability.
- Work with backend technologies, APIs, and databases to integrate AI-driven solutions into business operations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, automation, and multi-agent LLM systems.
Must-Have Requirements
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python for AI/ML development.
- Hands-on experience in training and fine-tuning AI models.
- Expertise in Reinforcement Learning techniques.
- Experience with Docker for AI model deployment and containerized applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with FastAPI for building AI-driven APIs.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MinIO, and Weaviate for database and storage solutions.
- Experience designing multi-agent LLM systems and applying AI for business process automation.
- Background in AI research and previous work with grant-funded projects is a plus.
