What are the responsibilities and job description for the P&M Worker I position at ONE Gas?
Position Description :
Pressure & Measurement Workers I shall be a Journeyman Gas Worker, or comparable field classification, or have at least one (1) year of experience or training in gas pressure regulation and measurement.
They must possess the required knowledge and experience necessary to perform all functions required in the installation, testing and maintenance of gas regulation, measurement, gas quality and odorization equipment.
This shall include, but not be limited to, regulator / relief valve installations and inspections; diaphragm, rotary, turbine and orifice meter installation and inspections; mechanical corrector installation and inspection; mechanical recording device installation and inspection; and odorizer inspection and maintenance. Persons in this step must pass all applicable P&M Operator Qualification tests and an oral / hands on evaluation before a review board to qualify for upgrade to P&M Worker II.
P&M Workers I shall be expected to work as a Journeyman Gas Worker when not required to perform P&M duties.
