Skyline Gastroenterology is seeking an Experienced Certified Medical Assistant to work as a Endo Technician/Surgical Technician in our Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Snapshot of Daily Duties
- Set up and assist physician with procedures.
- Ensure that all the equipment is correct for the procedure and in good working order.
- Safely deliver endoscopes to and from the procedure room.
- Collect, label, and send specimens with the correct paperwork out of the procedure room.
- Document thoroughly, accurately, and appropriately for each procedure.
- Accurately obtain vital signs as indicated and document on chart.
- Escort patient/families through and assist in checking in of patients as scheduled or needed.
- Assist in data collection to identify the patient’s needs, problems, concerns, or human responses.
The Must Haves
- High School graduate required.
- Certificated Medical Assistant or Experienced Endo/Surgical Technician
- Previous medical experience is preferable.
- Previous experience with computers is required.
- Must possess knowledge of acceptable parameters of pulse oximetry and blood pressures, blood borne pathogens and aseptic techniques.
- BLS certification required.
- Must have sufficient strength to move carts and assist patients while walking.
- On the job training is offered.

Standard Shift:
- Day shift 4 days per week, 10 hours days, M-F schedule.
