Snapshot of Daily Duties
- Facilitate Recall program.
- Communicate & interact successfully with patients by telephone.
- Communicate & interact successfully with referring physicians and referring physicians’ offices by telephone.
- Perform insurance verification duties as necessary. Enter information regarding insurance into the computer system.
- Collect medical history from patient via phone interview.
- Schedule patient appointments and other procedures in the computer as needed.
- Verify &/or enter all patient demographic information in the computer system.
- Enter data in EMR.
- Maintain data regarding phone calls, faxes, etc.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality.
The Must Haves
- Graduation from an approved LPN program. Must have active licensure and maintain licensure required. Membership in the state and/or national SGNA recommended.
- BLS and ACLS Certification required.
- Completed IV infusion therapy program required.
- Priority setting, application of judgment, communication skill and tact, ability to complete necessary tasks in reasonable time frames.
