INSTALL CREW LEAD - ONE HAT ONE HAND
One Hat One Hand is hiring for full-time install leads.
We are constantly installing incredibly creative and complex projects out in the world. And every year the size and scope of these beautiful projects increase. So its time, once again, for us to expand to meet this growth!
We are looking for skilled, dependable, professionals who are responsible for installing and supervising the onsite installation of our high-end, custom fabricated projects.
If you love working collaboratively to complete onsite installs, solve interesting problems, and provide customer service to internal and external teams, you will love working for us in the field!
We are seeking candidates who have five plus years of experience in the construction industry as a carpenter, metal worker, or installer and have finish level skills.
You will be lead installer and supervisor of teams of up to 6 people to install architectural components, large multimedia art works, & interactive event experiences. Projects can last from several days to several weeks. While most work is local, the ability to travel is desired.
- Lead a team of installers and coordinate with Project Manager to ensure on time, in budget, execution.
- Assist in organizing and communicating daily goals with internal and external teams.
- Responsible for monitoring quality control on all aspects of projects to meet clients expectations.
- Consult with designers and PM’s to endure feasibility of designs
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are met, including PPE and OSHA standards.
- Attention to detail, creative problem solving, dependability, and a strong solutions-based work ethic are required.
- Knowledge of commercial construction schedules, understanding of standardized blueprints & shop drawings are required.
- Valid drivers license and basic heavy equipment experience required.
- Flexible work hours and ability to travel required.
