About the Role We’re seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager to join our team! This person will work closely with our Kitchen Manager and Operations Team to ensure an amazing dining experience from start to finish for both our guests and staff. Management experience required.
Responsibilities
● Ultimate ownership and constant improvement of all restaurant operations.
● Managing a team of FOH staff including cashiers & runners. Responsibilities include training, salary and tip management, hiring/firing and scheduling.
● Management of FOH budget and P&L including vendor invoices, payment, etc.
● Managing inventory
● Oversee kitchen staff in tandem with Kitchen Manager.
● Oversight of private events in tandem with our Events Manager.
● Ultimate responsibility for cleanliness and upkeep of the physical space.
● Enforcing all standards of service and ensuring that guests enjoy and participate in the experience.
● Must be extremely solutions oriented and an excellent problem solver. The GM is the core of the restaurant and the team.
● Personality is key. Must be charismatic, excited about what we’re doing, and excited about coming into work. We believe service is about the unconventional guest experience, not just dining by technical standards. This person should also be passionate about service and love their job.
Skills & Requirements
● 2 years of restaurant management experience
● Strong food and beverage knowledge; experience with large restaurants and a fast-paced work environment ● Outstanding service skills
● Incredible work ethic - self motivated
● Experience managing a budget and P&L
● Experience managing a team
● Able to be serious and passionate about your work while having fun
Salary range for this position is 75,000 - 85,000
